About Us

Founder of Ptashka Crepes

Ptashka, meaning “little bird” in Ukrainian, is a Michigan-based, family-owned business founded by a mother and daughter. What began in our home kitchen as a tradition passed down through generations has grown into a mission to share handcrafted, filled crepes with families across the country.

I grew up in Odessa, Ukraine, making nalysnyky—delicate Ukrainian crepes filled with sweet and savory ingredients—side by side with my mom. When we immigrated to the United States, we carried our family recipes with us, along with the dream of sharing these flavors with our new community.

Today, every Ptashka crepe is handcrafted using carefully selected ingredients and prepared using a process that locks in freshness—so when you warm it up, it tastes just freshly made. Our product is fully cooked, frozen for convenience, and designed for real life: busy mornings, easy dinners, and everything in between.

Ptashka exists for people who value tradition, craftsmanship, and honest food—but who also appreciate modern convenience. We believe you shouldn’t have to choose between homemade quality and a ready-to-serve experience.

Our roots remain deeply connected to Ukraine. In honor of our heritage and our family’s history, a portion of our proceeds is donated to United Help Ukraine, supporting humanitarian aid and relief efforts.
